Only one instrument for all your demands

The GasTest alpha will be replaced by the GOLIATH in second half of 2009.

GOLIATH is a completely new dewelopment with a new infrared sensor system and there are a lot of tests necessary to confirm good operation under different climate conditions.

All boards, display and processing units are new and therefore also the software development and tests need a lot of time.

With the announcement of the GOLIATH in this early stage we want to block the sales of the Sewerin HS 680 and to open discussions with customers about the new instrument.

A lot of design work is already finished and also some approvals for ATEX certification are done.

Here the most important points and features for the GOLIATH

We will use an aluminium profile body (like with our handheld units) which offers better design and strength than the alpha body. Top and bottom plate are also manufactured by alumium. But the GOLIATH gets a very good impact protectian by 4 rubber attachments at each corner.

The operation will be nearly similar to the whole Esders instruments range. The three buttoms (ON/OFF/Enter, F1 and F2) are in the standard positions. But we now offer also a Info Button and a touch slider for fast and easy selections in the menu.

With the Info Buton the customer can get all necessary information like pump flow and batteri capacity without leaving the measurement application.

For flammable gas we have the following measurement ranges:

ppm by semiconductor

LEL by Infrared (no problems with sensor drifts, poisening and so on)

% VOL by the same Infrared sensor.
